Roland and Schütting

The Roland figure is a global symbol of freedom and market rights. Bremen's Roland is more than 600 years old and is considered one of the oldest and most grand Roland statues. Located by the market square and taking note from the Renaissance buildings of Flandern, Schütting is Bremen's mercantile community building.
