Programme
Your captain welcomes you aboard a traditional Spreewald river boat with Spreewald gherkins and schmalzbrot (a traditional German sandwich served with lard). The ride proceeds through a unique laguna landscape past typical Spreewald estates. Dinner is served at the hotel as a Spreewald buffet.
Day 2: Spreewald Sightseeing Trip – Gherkin SeminarToday, your local guide welcomes you on a Spreewald sightseeing trip in traditional Lower Sorbian attire. Learn more about Sorbian/Wendian culture, discover old Slavic fortifications, cultural sites of Sorbic rulers, the Wendian Shrovetide and Sorbian Easter rites. The tour ends with an enjoyable gherkin seminar including a tasting and some regional schapps. Dinner is served at the hotel or at a restaurant.
Day 3: Leisure TimeBefore departure, we recommend a visit to the Lehde Open-Air Museum where you can visit typical, old Wendian farmhouses.
