Description
The Memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe in the heart of Berlin is the central Holocaust memorial in Germany, a place to commemorate the nearly six million Jewish Holocaust victims. The memorial is located between the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz, and consists of a grid of stelae (concrete slabs) designed by Peter Eisenmann as well as the underground "Place of Information."
