Description
The UNESCO biosphere reservior preserves a unique habitat for numerous animal and plant species. The traditional tub boat still dictates the daily life of many Spreewald residents. Spreewald forest is bilingual and belongs to the settlement of a small Slavic people called the Sorbs/Wends.
