Description
Marienberg Fortress is the proverbial landmark of Würzburg. Over time, it has been reconstructed and expanded several times and surrounded with numerous fortifications. The oldest preserved part is St. Mary's church from 706 AD. Today, the facilities feature the Main-Franconian Museum as well as a convention center, among other things.
